On the island of Kauai, the energy you feel is palatable, raw, and divinely feminine. It reaches beyond words, her breeze balmy and sensual, her green all encompassing. Madison & Evan’s wedding day began with a soft quiet as they got ready solo at their beach villas - a time that allowed the both of them presence with themselves and with their close family. After reading their personal vows to one another and a few first looks, we headed to Tunnels Beach, where a traditional Hawaiian flower ceremony was held, observed by only their parents and the wild and loving hug of the Universe’s blessing. The wind lapped at their leis and hair, and the sweet rain kisses cried happy tears for their bond. Ending the day at Gaia, Kauai farm to table restaurant, Madison, Evan and their parents shared a table of laughter and reflection, expressing the joy of all they had built together. Acoustic dances and drinks concluded the festivities, and they left with more warmth than the Hawaiian sun.
