One of my all-time favorite series is The Walking Dead. I had this song in my album for a while, and the more I listened to it, the more it gave me that dark, emotional post-apocalyptic feeling — survival, loss, hope, fear, and the will to keep moving forward. Because of that, I rewrote the lyrics to better match the atmosphere and emotional world of The Walking Dead.
