University of Worcester ADCP StreamPro river discharge measurement
This short video clip demonstrates the use of a Teledyne RDI StreamPro Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler (ADCP) on the River Arrow, UK. This instrument measures stream discharge and provides data on cross-profile depth and velocity distribution too. Students use this instrument as part of the undergraduate degree programmes in Geography, Physical Geography and Water and Environmental Management and PhDs in River Science at the University of Worcester, UK.
