A seemingly simple question, because the choice of line can completely change the fishing experience, especially when faced with challenging sea conditions, strong currents, suspended algae, and carefully selected spots. The episode opens with a typical surfcasting situation: rough seas, moving water, and the need to understand where to place the bait. In these conditions, nylon often becomes a winning choice thanks to its elasticity, its ability to absorb the fish's attacks, and the fact that, by creating a slight belly in the water, it can help the lead work better on the bottom without constantly shifting. Braided line, on the other hand, comes into play when maximum sensitivity, direct contact with the bait, and long casting distances are required. However, precisely because of its lack of elasticity, it requires more attention, both during the fight and in managing the shock leader, a key element for safely casting and protecting the entire fishing system. Other fundamental aspects are also analyzed during the session: the presence of algae on the line, reading the channel, choosing the right fishing distance, managing the leader, and using the most suitable bait. Bibi, sand worm, and Korean worm become the protagonists of a technical fishing session, where every detail can make the difference. After a complicated first part, with the fish uncooperative and the challenging conditions, the fishing finally comes to life. Correct spot reading and bait placement yield the first catches, including sea bream, white bream, and sea bass, confirming the importance of adapting equipment, line, and strategy to the sea's behavior. A comprehensive, technical yet practical episode designed to help every angler understand when to choose nylon, when to rely on braided lines, and how to best utilize both options in modern surfcasting. If you practice surfcasting or want to improve your beach reading, this episode will provide you with useful tips to immediately incorporate into your next outings. 🧰 These are some of the products used during the video 🧰 6:02"| HIDROGEN COMPETIZIONE rod 250 gr 171-86-800 6:53"| AERAS 8000 reel 035-24-180 9:01"| HIDROGEN ORIZZONTE rod (framed only) 172-19-410 9:58"| ELASTIC LINE 105-00-000 10:51"| ULTRA 4203 rod 172-19-510 14:43"| IMERA B-SURF 4503 rod 171-95-255 16:22" | INTERSTELLAR SURF 4203 rod 172-15-110 📙 TRABUCCO CATALOGUE 📙 ISSUU » https://tinyurl.com/Catalogo-2026-ITA ISSUU » https://tinyurl.com/Catalog-2026-ENG 🛒 ONLINE SHOPS 🛒 AUTHORIZED PHYSICAL DEALERS https://tinyurl.com/MappaRivenditori AUTHORIZED E-COMMERCE http://www.trabucco.it/web_shop.htm 🐟 OUR OTHER BRANDS 🐟 @Rapturelures » http://www.rapturelures.com/ @KKarpfishing » http://www.k-karp.com/ DISCLAIMER: Trabucco Fishing has been a leading company in the sport fishing industry for over thirty years.
