TRIBUNJAKARTA.COM - Attorney Eggi Sudjana has spoken out about the suspended detention of Roy Suryo and Tifauziah Tysauma, also known as Doctor Tifa, in the alleged fake diploma case involving the 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo (Jokowi). Egi Sudjana urged that both be detained in the case because they face a sentence of more than five years. "They must be detained. The reason isn't my feelings, it's the law. He's charged with an article that carries a sentence of more than five years," Eggi Sudjana said in a video received on Monday (June 22, 2026). He reminded the prosecutors to side with professional law enforcement. Otherwise, the Prosecutor's Office will receive negative public criticism.
