Dialekt-Taliban in Bern, Nonchalance in Basel: Bänz Friedli | Comedy | Arosa Humorfestival | SRF

At the 2025 Arosa Humorfestival, Bänz Friedli demonstrates just how explosive dialects can be: Bernese German is "gmögig" – until you order bread in the wrong tone at the Bern train station. From there, the journey continues via Zurich to Basel, where suddenly nonchalance reigns and language becomes an attitude. With speed, precision, and satirical jabs, Friedli makes it clear: words are never just sound – they are power, self-image, and sometimes the most beautiful packaging for utter nonsense. Every year, well-known comedians from Switzerland and Germany gather at over 2,000 meters in a tent in the middle of the Arosa ski resort for the Humorfestival. SRF presents the festival's highlights in a 70-minute show, hosted by the comedy duo Lapsus. A ski resort, a red and blue circus tent, numerous artists from the comedy and cabaret scene, and thousands of spectators eager for a good laugh. These are the ingredients of the Arosa Humorfestival. For 12 days, the tent near the Tschuggenhütte and other locations in Arosa were a mecca for the comedy scene, drawing comedians and audiences through the snowy winter landscape. SRF presents highlights from this year's Arosa Humorfestival in a 70-minute show. The comedy duo Lapsus hosts the program and also performs some of their own material. ___ SRF Comedy on srf.ch 👉 https://srf.ch/comedy #SRFComedy #arosahumorfestival ___ Netiquette: https://srf.ch/social-netiquette
