VISITING THE SCOTTISH HOLIDAY HOME OF THE ROYAL FAMILY: BALMORAL CASTLE// Hello lovely people, Today we're sharing our visit to Balmoral Castle, the Scottish holiday home of the royal family. After our visit we think it's the most incredible place for long walks and hikes - the gardens aren't that impressive but the landscape and Scottish Highlands are simply breathtaking. On our way back home to England, we had to visit at a Whisky distillery in Scotland of course so we went to the Dewar's Aberfeldy Distillery because Jörg really loves whisky so we booked a tour and a little tasting (though I will never be converted as I don't like the taste of alcohol). By pure coincidence, we stumbled upon The Highland Chocolatier in Pitlochry when we drove to Aberfeldy which was so nice as the chocolate is absolutely divine and the people in there so nice.
