Dutch Traditions: Dragons in Beesel (1946)

Depicted is a legend in which Saint George kills a dragon and thus saves the life of the king's only daughter. The next festival will be held in 2023. Sinds 1736 viert elke zeven jaar het Limburgse Beesel het drakenfeest. Afgebeeld is een legende waarin Sint Joris een draak doodt en zo het leven redt van de enige dochter van de koning. Het volgende festival wordt in 2023 gehouden.
