He is an alumnus of the National Defence Academy (67th Course D Squadron), Defence Services Staff College, Flying Instructor School, College of Defence Management, and National Defence College. Air Marshal Sanjeev Kapoor took over charge as Commandant of, the National Defence Academy (NDA) on 31 Oct 2021. With 40+ years of experience, Sanjeev Kapoor shares his journey with NDA, where he joined as a cadet and left as a Commandant.
