My guest today is Bal Onaran, one of the Turks in the showcase of France. She has been living in France for a long time. Educated in art history and Turkology, Onaran currently works as a French and Turkish teacher. She has also translated numerous literary and scientific works. Among her most notable translations are books on Jacques Roubaud, Boris Vian, Nazım Hikmet, and Philippe Jaccottet. – You have been living in France for many years. Could you first tell us about the process that brought you to France and how this journey affected your academic life?
