Nobunaga's Ambition: Taishi Episode 1 The Art of War

I start off this video showing how battles work in this fine, fun game of the Sengoku Warring states Period of Japan. I show how I'm using 4 armies to take enemy castles focusing on the tactical battle feature which I truly enjoy, the first one I've ever enjoyed. Finally a game on the strategic level that doesn't give the player with the largest army the biggest advantage in always winning the battles. After using the auto-resolve on one small battle I show how I take a smaller army on the offense and win against a bigger army on defense. I show the different attack plans but focus on the only one I use for my initial battle setup. Then I go through the battle, turn by turn, and show how I direct my units to victory. I end the monthly turn so I can show the turn's dispatches which explain various things that happened during the turn as well as the economic reports on how I gain gold, provisions and gear to arm my units. I quickly show the agriculture, commercial and development features as to how I build up my economy. I also explain which facilities I build and why to show why some facilities are better than others. I end up explaining how much fun I've had with the strategy portion of the game and how wild it can get with so many clans vying for dominance. I'll be doing a second episode to explain the other features that make this game great.
