Mercedes W212 | Tailgate Not Fully Closing Check Out This Parts

Have had this problem for a while with my automatic tailgate not fully closing. I did also get a loud click click click sound sometimes like the lock struggle to open. Guess it had to do sometime with this wire now everything working smoothly. Checked up with xentry computer but no fault codes whatsoever. Did not really plan to shot a video but think this could be helpfully for others that’s may have or get the same problem with the boot lid. How could the wire come loose. I can only think it’s because all condensed water got icy or something like that. That sponge was totally soaked in water. Trunk latch actuator / soft close motor it’s not bolted only sitting inside that sponge/foam no problem to remove.
