Every Type of Star Explained

Every type of star explained, from the tiny red dwarfs that will outlive the universe to the dying giants that collapse into black holes. This video walks through 15 kinds of stars and follows them from birth to death: how each one forms, what makes it different from the rest, and what it leaves behind when it dies. Along the way we cover protostars, failed brown dwarfs, the common red and orange dwarfs, our own Sun, blue giants, red giants and supergiants, rare hypergiants, exploding Wolf-Rayet stars, pulsing variable stars, and the three stellar corpses the universe is left with: white dwarfs, neutron stars and magnetars, and the black holes that mark the end of the largest stars of all.
