CAWASA Webinar 2026 Series No. 12 Topic: The Impact of Dry Season and Drought Conditions on Water Availability Presenter: Candice Santana, Manager, Water Resources, WRA, WASA Trinidad & Tobago, President, CWWA. Candice Santana is a Caribbean water sector leader and climate resilience specialist with over 20 years of experience in water resources management. Raised in the rural community of Tabaquite, Trinidad and Tobago, near the Navet Dam, her passion for water security and sustainable development began early in life. She currently serves as Manager, Water Resources at the Water Resources Agency (WRA), a division of the Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA), where she leads initiatives in hydrology, climate adaptation, water security, and hydrometeorological data management. Candice is also the President of the Caribbean Water and Wastewater Association (CWWA), where she champions regional collaboration, climate-smart water governance, and resilient water solutions across the Caribbean. Known for her people-centered leadership and advocacy for youth and community empowerment, she brings both technical expertise and regional perspective to discussions on dry season challenges and water availability.
