MCAT Biology: Endocrine System Essentials

This video covers the essentials of the Endocrine System on the MCAT. We review the major organs of the endocrine system, including the hypothalamus, pituitary, adrenal glands, gonads, thyroid, and pancreas. We walk through the 3 major pathways originating in the hypothalamus: the HPA, HPG, and HPT axes. We also review the other hormones produced by the pituitary and insulin/glucagon production by the pancreas. Preparing to take the MCAT?
