River Residencies - Limerick

In August 2021, artist Tania Candiani spent four weeks living in Glin, Co. Limerick. During her stay, the artist observed the interconnected rhythm of the village and the tidal river. In particular, she spent time with local swimmers as they made their way daily to the water at high tide. This video features Tania speaking about her experience on residency and her film 'Tidal Choreography', which she made with the help of over fifty local swimmers.
