Acting on specific intelligence, the District Voluntary Force (DVF) of Nuapada Police and the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) carried out a joint combing operation in the Patadhara Reserved Forest under Boden Police Station limits. During the operation, a large cache of Maoist explosives and materials hidden near Barapat Hill was recovered. The seizure includes two country-made guns, magazines, two Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs), eight gelatin sticks, gunpowder and other Maoist materials. The recovery is being seen as part of the ongoing efforts to eliminate Maoist infrastructure and prevent future insurgent activities in the region.
