Isar Radweg - Oktober 2024 - Langversion

Autumn Tour on the Isar Cycle Path Before autumn is over and winter sets in, a short tour is worth completing. The Isar Cycle Path is easy to cycle, and there are plenty of places to stop for refreshments and accommodations along the route – making it the ideal destination for a relaxing end-of-year tour. Start in Scharnitz, from there to the lower source area, and then along the Isar to its mouth. It wasn't a major sightseeing tour; I was more interested in staying on the path and enjoying the scenery. In five leisurely stages, I reached my destination – the mouth of the Isar. Many things would have been even more magnificent in sunshine – but it was autumn, so I can't complain. Finally, some information for anyone who wants to cycle this tour.
