I visited Gomado, a small island in Wando, to deliver an excavator. Here, I met a couple who had lived in Incheon but chose to return to fishing after retirement. The husband, who loves fishing, and the wife, who dislikes fish, moved to the island of Wando together. They plan to build their own house and start a new life. These days, many people dream of returning to fishing or rural life. The government and local municipalities are also operating various systems, such as support programs for starting fishing businesses and policies to support those returning to rural life.
