The Crafty View: Dorinda Evans shares her love of quilting.
Dorinda Evans Madison, MS Fiber Quilts Guild member since 2007 Dorinda has been a prolific quilter for over 28 years. Her work is based on traditional quilt patterns with a new twist of geometric design and a bright color palette. Her quilts have been featured in publications and advertisements. She has won numerous ribbons in regional, national, and international quilt exhibitions. Through the Craftsmen's Guild, two videos on the history of Contemporary Quilting were filmed and can be seen on YouTube. She was also awarded the Grand Prize at Chimneyville 2012 for excellence in workmanship. Dorinda loves putting little scraps of color to work in quilts of all sizes.
