Putting a P90 and Filtertron in a Telecaster!? | Mothership Gear Brian McMaster has done the unthinkable, and somehow built one of our favorite partscasters. He took a buddies old telecaster, cut out the pickups with some scissors, smashed in a P90 and a Filtertron, asked his luthier to set up the pickups so they'd be out of phase, and replaced his tone and volume knobs with Pulp and Peel pedal knobs.
