She embodies the wisdom of ancient knowledge and insights, expanded by current events, as she is a woman still informed about what is happening in the world. Born in Puglia near Gallipoli 94 years ago, she lived for a few years in Arma di Taggia, then moved to Triora, where she still lives. She knows herbs and uses them for healing. If she had been born around the end of the 16th century, like the other women who lived outside the walls of Triora (in the neighborhood called La Cabotina) and were blamed for the famine of that period, she would have been tried and tortured. We didn't detain her any longer by asking her boring questions, which she probably answered hundreds of times, but we preferred to keep the conversation spontaneous. I cut out the overly personal things, and even though the video seems incomplete, I preferred to leave it that way.
