Unable to bring himself to fight his beloved teacher, Choji hesitates throughout the battle. Encouraged by Asuma's final words and unwavering faith in his students, Choji overcomes his doubts. Together with Shikamaru and Ino, he successfully seals Asuma. Before disappearing, Asuma expresses his pride in his students and entrusts the future to the next generation. Meanwhile, the Masked Man (Tobi/Obito) officially enters the battlefield and summons the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path (Gedō Mazō). Its overwhelming power devastates the Allied Shinobi Forces, pushing the war into an even more desperate stage. At Turtle Island, after fully mastering the power of the Nine-Tails, Naruto senses that his comrades are risking their lives in the war.
