Viljoen argues for his release on bail
Disbarred lawyer Peet Viljoen appeared before the Commercial Crimes Court in Pretoria, arguing for his release on bail. The controversial former television star was arrested in June. He is facing over 400 charges ranging from fraud and theft to forgery, among other charges. The State is opposing bail, citing a lack of reliable home addresses.
