Robot deliveries taking off in UK
Supermarket deliveries by robot are proving popular in Milton Keynes, UK, following a trial by robotics firm Starship. The company says Covid lockdowns boosted delivery, but that it has since remained strong. They has joined forces with supermarket chains Co-op and Tesco, among other retailers. A US expansion is already underway, and they hope to continue their rollout in Europe in the next 12 months.
