It breaks down into three distinct segments: Jump-off to Papaya River: A relatively gradual and pleasant woodland trek taking about 1.5 to 2 hours. The river is the last water source. Papaya River to the Ridge: A punishing, hour-long continuous assault. The trail becomes steep, craggy, and heavily rooted, often requiring you to use your upper body to pull yourself up.
