Welcome to my Hiking and Backpacking Channel! In this adventure, I embark on an epic 3-day solo winter backpacking trip along the Ouachita Trail in O. I have missed the forest after completing the Pennine Way in England last month. The Pennine Way was mostly moorlands and meadows. This secluded journey takes me through the stunning, remote wilderness of the Ouachita Mountains, where I experience the tranquility of nature without encountering a single soul. The winter backpacking conditions were challenging. The trail was dry, not many natural water sources. But some people left water caches at trailheads that kept me going.
