This is one of the more difficult iPods to repair, especially if it is your first attempt as the parts are fragile and it will require soldering. That being said, it still not that bad and isn't anywhere near as difficult as the nano 4 or 5. It will probably take between 30 minutes to an hour to complete the repair although once you get good you can do a screen replacement in under 20 minutes with this model.
