EllatheParrotlet: How To Make Birdie Mash *Pacific Parrotlet*

This is how I prepare the birdie mash that I feed to my Parrotlet. Birdie Mash is a mixture of different healthy grains, fruits and vegetables that your bird can eat. By making a mix of these it ensures your bird gets a wide range of vitamins and nutrients on a daily basis. In my mash I've used: Brown Rice, Quinoa, Bulgar, Lentils, Split Peas, Collard Greens, Kale, Apple, Carrot, Yellow Pepper, Sweet Potatoes, Turmeric & Cumin I mentioned whole wheat pasta but bought the wrong package by mistake. I section my mash in to plastic baggies and then store in the freezer to keep fresh, thawing as needed. This is a great way to save yourself some time as you don't need to prepare fresh food everyday and I find it especially handy for a small bird like Ella because the portions I often make tend to go bad before she's eaten it all.
