You Are Your Choices: The reason the title was selected. Dr Arori Explains during a short Interview

Dr. Arori’s formative years were not merely difficult; they were a crucible that tested his identity, his faith, and the power of his choices. After completing NYS (National Youth Service of Kenya, Africa), he found himself homeless in Gilgil and later labored at the Kericho tea factory. Yet even in hardship, something within him refused to surrender. Months later, humbled by life but not defeated by it, he returned home like a prodigal son and asked his parents for permission to pursue his education again and sit for the High School Examination, despite having no formal training in Forms Three and Four, the equivalent of 10th and 11th grades in the United States. With his parents’ support, he chose discipline over despair and purpose over pity. He studied relentlessly, often alone in a church building, memorizing entire chapters across several subjects. During 12-hour study days, he sometimes survived on nothing more than morning uji (porridge), but hunger could not silence his hope. His determination moved his father to give him a second chance, and that choice changed the direction of his life. From that painful season emerged the “GOLD FOUNDATION” of this book, You Are Your Choices: a reminder that every life is shaped, not only by what happens to us, but by the choices we make when life gives us every reason to give up.
