Maggie's So Satisfying Lemon Zest Frozen Yoghurt🍋

There's nothing better than a tangy, delicious dessert in the summertime☀️ Maggie made this delicious Lemon Frozen Yoghurt dessert for her friend ‪@DerekSarnoChef‬ Sarno who came over to cook with her, and we cannot stop thinking about it. It is amazing on its own, but Maggie created it to serve with her Golden Almond Cake with Marzipan and Raspberry sauce. It's also perfect with a thin piece of dark chocolate🍫 Check out Derek's page here:    / @dereksarnochef   & here is how to make the fro yo (makes 4 servings): Ingredients: ➔ 2 Tbsp lemon zest ➔ 4 Tbsp Sugar ➔ 1/3 cup lemon juice (try it with at least ½ cup) Works with regular or Meyer Lemons ➔ 1 cup Coco June plain yoghurt (This is a thick, rich coconut yoghurt. If you can't use cocojune, then try to use a coconut based thick Greek style yogurt. It won’t work with a regular yogurt.) ➔ ½ cup sweetened condensed coconut milk Instructions: 1. Combine lemon zest with ranulated sugar and crush to combine well. 2. Add the lemon juice to the sugar and zest mixture to dissolve the sugar. 3. In a blender (or use a stick blender or mix vigorously by hand) combine the yoghurt, sweetened condensed coconut milk until well blended. Add the zest, sugar and lemon juice mixture and blend well. 4. Pour the blended mixture into the ninja creami container and reeze or at least 24 hours. 5. Blend on the Ice Cream setting on the Ninja Creami Machine until smooth. (Alternately you can chill the mixture and then use the chilled container from an electric ice cream machine)
