Curtis Mead, a former top prospect for the Rays, bounced around and finally found a home with the Washington Nationals in 2026. Now after being one of MLB’s better hitters heading into the trade deadline, the Nationals have traded Mead to the Boston Red Sox in exchange for left-handed pitcher Connelly Early. It was a really fun run for Mead in Washington, but now Nats fans say “See ya later, mate!” to the Australian breakout slugger.
