MIT Campus Walking Tour – Cambridge MA (Media Lab, Stata Center, Kresge Auditorium)

Join me for an informational and historical walk through the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) campus in Cambridge, MA. This 4K walking tour begins at the MIT Media Lab on Amherst Street and continues past many of the university’s most iconic landmarks. Along the way, you’ll see Frank Gehry’s striking Ray and Maria Stata Center, the Aesop’s Fable II sculpture, and the Sean Collier Memorial. From there, I head up Vassar Street past the Environmental Science and Engineering Parsons Laboratory, the Picower Institute for Learning and Memory, and the MIT Central Utilities Plant. Continuing onto Massachusetts Avenue, the tour includes views of the MIT Daniel Guggenheim School of Aerospace Engineering, the duPont Athletic Center, and the Julius Adams Stratton Student Center. The walk concludes near several well-known MIT sites, including The Alchemist sculpture, the William Barton Rogers Building (MIT Building 7), Kresge Auditorium, and the MIT Chapel.
