Papa San -Run de route.. Tyrone Thompson,[1][2] better known as Papa San, is a Jamaican reggae, dancehall and gospel singer. Born in 1966[3], he was raised by his Rastafarian grandmother and turned to Christianity in 1997.[3] This is also reflected in his style, as he started off as a true dancehall deejay, later adopting traits of Gospel and Christian music.[1][2] He is the Brother of Dirtsman, who was murdered in 1993.
