Building an IDE68K then patching Kickstart 34.05 (1.3) to boot Workbench 1.3

Time to get the soldering iron again as I want to finally add IDE to the Amiga 500 so join me this week as we put together an IDE68K. If we are going to do that though we also need to set up a HDD but rather than just build another Workbench 3.1 machine I thought we’d have a go at setting up Workbench 1.3 and if we’re sticking with workbench 1.3 then we may as well stick with Kickstart 34.05 but to get that booting IDE it needs patched.
