Due to the recent passing of the Pope, the traditional historical parade through the Imperial Forums was not held, and the celebrations at the Circus Maximus were also scaled back in respect of mourning. Despite this, Rome still wanted to honor its millennial foundation through military reenactments, demonstrations of Roman daily life, and cultural activities, with great dignity and a sense of belonging. Even in its sobriety, Rome continues to live its eternal spirit. Rome is also this.
