Intake bay negative edge and a cistern all working together to resolve common ponding issues.
After my first couple years with the pond some issues kept appearing each year. 1. fish breeding, population would double ech year. I made them too many places to hide. 2. leaves I have three large trees overhanging the pond. The amount of leaves demanded constant attention. That included the dreaded mapple seedlings better known as helicopters. still wanting surface skimming. 3. evaporation and relying on a mechanical float switch to replenish with city water. this video talks about the solutions and honestly I don't think it could be made any better.
