*Check out the tools we used below. If the video was helpful, please give it a "thumbs up" and consider subscribing to the channel.* This video goes over how to locate and replace the cam positioning bank 2 sensor (A) on a 2013 Infiniti JX35 with a 3.5 motor. This should be the same process for any 2013-2017 Infiniti JX35/QX60 with a 3.5 motor. This vehicle was showing a PO345, which was giving a rough idle and would sometimes stall. Your cam positioning sensor monitors the position of the rotating cam shaft relative to the position of your crankshaft. Feeding this information to the computer which then adjusts fuel injection and adjusts spark timing at the correct time to make your engine run properly. With a part that affects timing or monitors engine function, it’s a good idea to use your VIN number to make sure you get the proper part that allows your vehicle to function properly.
