WILD COSTA RICA - Where the jungle meets the Caribbean

The adventure continues! For the second part of our trip, we journeyed to the vibrant Caribbean coast of Costa Rica. The drive alone was breathtaking, taking us through the misty, beautiful Braulio Carrillo Cloud Forest National Park. We took a break at a small roadside cafe and were immediately greeted by capuchin monkeys, a curious anteater, and a host of colorful birds! We then checked into our stunning jungle lodge, a true hidden gem nestled deep in nature. Waking up every morning to the sound of howler monkeys and toucans, with the pristine Caribbean beach just a few steps away, felt like we were living in our own wildlife documentary. It was pure magic! Our days were spent exploring the incredible biodiversity of the area. We visited Manzanillo National Park, where we were lucky enough to spot the magnificent great green macaw. As darkness fell, we joined a guided night walk in Cahuita National Park, discovering the fascinating nocturnal world of spiders, snakes, and tiny, colorful frogs. This coast is a world away from the Pacific side, offering a completely different but equally wild experience. 💬 Have you ever stayed in a jungle lodge? What's the coolest thing you've heard or seen right from your room? Thanks for exploring with us! Lotte & Domek Our socials: https://www.linktree.com/tourinbirds
