We did this video a few years back and had the price at $1500 because that was the average SSI payment and it was close to ½ the average military retirement payment. Things have changed in 2022, housing costs are up, the cost of living, in general, is up and health insurance has gone up. These videos are just telling you what it takes to get by on the basics. You aren’t going hungry, your rent or house payment should be meant, and you don’t have to be worried about your utilities being cut off. But let’s be honest.
