the Daily Consecration to the Sacred Heart of Jesus

The Sacred Heart of Jesus is a profound symbol of Christ’s infinite love, mercy, and compassion for all humanity. To consecrate ourselves daily to His Sacred Heart is to place our entire lives — our joys, struggles, work, and relationships — under His gentle care and guidance. This short daily prayer is an act of trust. It’s saying, “Jesus, I give You my heart today. Mold it to be more like Yours.” Through this consecration, we ask for the grace to love as He loves, to forgive as He forgives, and to serve with His humility. St. Margaret Mary Alacoque, who received the revelations of the Sacred Heart, was told by Jesus: “Do not let your heart be troubled. Trust in Me.” So we begin each day by entrusting ourselves to that Heart which was pierced for us, and which burns with love even now. Take a moment to quiet your heart, and offer this day to Him.
