Cactus Landscape Acrylic painting.

Inspired by the wonderful work of the artist Erin Hanson we learn about her work and make a copy of this beautiful landscape in acrylic paint. Information About Jamie's classes. My art classes run over 10 weeks for each term three times a year in Spring, Summer and Autumn. I currently have one online on Thursday between 7pm-9pm on Zoom. All courses usually start with drawing using different materials including pencils, biro pen, ink and brushes or charcoal. Then we use acrylic paints as well as watercolour, colour pencils, oil pastels and much more. To start with you will need a set of drawing pencils, eraser, ruler, and a good sketchbook A4 size. Subjects might be something as simple as reflections but is often a subject like portraits, landscapes, still life, wildlife or figurative art. During the course you will have the opportunity to try new materials, techniques and be experimental. This is inspired by a range of contemporary as well as traditional artists. The online lessons run in the evenings (UK time - GMT or BST) using the Zoom App. You don't need a Zoom subscription but you will need the app downloaded onto your computer and a webcam or computer or mobile camera.
