New technology is integrated into the National Disabled Veterans Winter Sports Clinic to help promote independence in skiing and life. Michael Kilmer, Director Grand Junction VA Medical Center, experiences the Tetra-ski first hand. The Tetra-ski was developed by the University of Utah Health. Co-hosted by DAV and VA, the National Disabled Veterans Winter Sports Clinic promotes rehabilitation through adaptive sports. The five-day event in Snowmass, CO is a world leader in adaptive winter sports instruction for ill and injured Veterans and their families. #wintersportsclinic
