The Kings Abandoned Castle - 1,000 Years Old With Everything Inside (REAL-LIFE SKYRIM)

Hidden in the hills of the Valle Staffora in northern Italy, Castello di Oramala has stood for nearly 1,000 years. First recorded in 1029, this fortress became a powerful stronghold of the Malaspina family, evolving into a rare medieval hub for Provençal troubadours, poets, and musicians. By the late 1400s it was transformed into a heavy defensive fortress, but when the nobility abandoned it centuries later, Oramala slowly collapsed into ruin. Stones were scavenged, towers crumbled, and the once-lively halls fell silent. In the 1980s the castle was rescued and restored, eventually reopening as a museum of rural tools and ironworking, preserving over 2,000 artifacts from centuries of local life. Though later closed again Castello di Oramala remains a haunting symbol of Italy’s layered past — a mix of medieval power, artistic culture, and abandoned mystery.
