After many episodes of planning, land preparation, and construction, in this chapter I managed to finalize the entire main structure of the base. Several details, decorations, and interior improvements are still missing, but the house has finally ceased to be a project and become a complete construction. With the base protected and covered, I took the opportunity to invest in another essential resource for the evolution of survival: I built a charcoal furnace, which will be responsible for supplying the next stages of metallurgy. To prepare it, I went in search of a large quantity of wood, felling several trees to guarantee enough fuel to produce plenty of charcoal. This stock will be fundamental for the manufacture of metal alloys and for the arrival of even more advanced technologies.
