2025 Prusa XL Extruder Error Motor is Not Spinning

This video reviews the extruder error on the process XL. The error is that the extruder motor is not spinning on a tool. The problem occurs usually when the extruder is farthest out on the print bed. This can cause some motion of the electrical cable to the extruder motor. If if looses connection, the print error occurs and the print will fail and need to be restarted. The fix from PRUSA is a process to print multiple parts (I used PETG without support) and exchange those for the existing parts on the extruders. They are the dwarf cover connector, the dwarf cover base, and the dwarf cover connector jig. A very detailed description of what to download and how to replace it is reviewed. NOTE: I used hex nuts requiring heat. If you use square nuts, heat will probably not be required.
