Why Supergirl didn't work for me

Supergirl had the bones of a great movie. I wasn't quite familiar with her in the comics or the tv show but the DCU movie showcases such an important character of a refugee fleeing dangerous circumstances to lose everything she knows. The only problem is, they don't show her enough! I quite liked the film by the time I got to the end, but I was really hoping to see more. I'm fully on board to see where the DC Universe takes her, but I'm afraid I barely got to know her. What do you all think about the movie? Welcome to my new version of my series "Into the Pot"!
