Mount Meager is moving right now — and almost nobody in Canada knows it. Not in some distant geological sense. Satellite radar has measured the slopes of Canada's most dangerous volcano actively deforming, creeping downhill millimetre by millimetre. These are the same slopes that failed in 2010, producing the largest landslide in Canadian history: 45+ million cubic metres of rock moving at 230 km/h, registering as a magnitude 2.6 earthquake felt 2,000 km away.
