Our Chiang Mai adventure didn’t get off to the best start. On day one, we realised the place we booked to stay just wasn’t right for us as a family. Not the easiest beginning to our time in northern Thailand. But sometimes a mistake sets you up for something even better. From watching Stanley and Margot learn to swim, to an unforgettable day with the elephants at Elefin Farm & Cafe, Chiang Mai quickly won us over. We also made new friends at Buak Hard Park and ended the day with delicious Chiang Mai street food and a vibrant night market. What started as a stressful arrival turned into one of the most rewarding days of our trip so far.
