You don’t have to let everything go all at once. It’s important to find a pace that works for you. A little trick is to gather items you’re almost positive you can do without, and hide them in a closet or outside storage. Let a week pass, and if you haven’t thought about or needed those items during that time then you have all the proof you need that it’s a good time to let them go. A cluttered space almost certainly equals a cluttered mind. You just have to figure out what qualifies as clutter to you. And that may change over time. Start where you’re at.
